Tennessee vs. Houston

Tennessee started 14-0 this season and was the No. 1 team in the country for awhile before losing four of seven games, but the Volunteers overcame that mediocre stretch and are back at the top of their game following a convincing 78-65 victory over Kentucky, which had beaten them twice. Zakai Zeigler had 18 points and 10 assists as Tennessee outplayed the Wildcats on both ends of the floor. The Volunteers didn't need to rely on 3-point shooting as it made only five of 19 and the Wildcats were held to six of 15 from beyond the arc. Tennessee is #4 in 3-point defense allowing 28.5 percent and Houston is #3 in the nation in field goal percentage defense and that is why we have such a low posted total, but Tennessee scores 74.7 points per game and Houston averages 74.0.
