Akron comes off a 67-57 win over Cleveland State last Saturday even while shooting only 31.2 percent and Daniel Utomi led the Zips with 20 points. Akron made nine more free throws than the Vikings, who were just 3 of 19 from 3-point range. Tennessee Martin returns only one starter from last year's 22-13 squad, including Jacolby Mobley, who was the team's leading scorer and first-team all-conference. The Skyhawks have lost two of their first three games this season, but they did manage a win over North Carolina Central on Wednesday as Matthew Butler scored 16 points and Fatodd Lewis added 15 points and 11 rebounds. These are two teams that are in a rebuilding mode, but the Zips have the home court and figure to shoot better than they did against Cleveland State. Take Akron on the moneyline.
