Duke is a huge favorite but faces a tough Syracuse 2-3 zone defense that attacks on the perimeter and prefers a slow pace. Syracuse has 18 wins, is sitting on the NCAA Tournament bubble, and comes off a 78-74 loss to #10 North Carolina, getting the cover. The Orange are second in the ACC in scoring defense (64.0 overall, 65.1 in league play). Duke is still without its injured star forward Marvin Bagley III (sprained knee), who leads the team in scoring (21.2) and rebounding (11.4). Syracuse is on a 4-1 spread run against the ACC and has won the last two meetings with Duke, including a 64-62 triumph in its last visit to Cameron Indoor in 2016. This will be another close one, so back the big dog and play Syracuse.
