St. John's was totally humiliated while losing 72-40 to Connecticut on Feb. 25 and the Red Storm learned from it and haven't lost since. In fact, they are 6-1 ATS since that debacle, including avenging the loss with a 72-52 rout of the Huskies in the Big East championship game. The Red Storm kept it going on Friday as they demolished Northern Iowa 79-53 outrebounding the Panthers 45-29. Zuby Ejiofor had 14 points and 11 rebounds for St. John's, who have allowed only 62.3 points per game their past seven. Kansas has split its past 10 games with a 4-6 ATS mark. Following a 22-point loss to Houston in the Big 12 tournament the Jayhawks nearly sqaundered a 26-point lead before defeating Cal Baptist 66-60 as a 13.5-point favorite. Kansas has failed to score 70 points in six of its past eight games. Rick Pitino has the Red Storm peaking at the right time and he can match Kansas coach Bill Self's experience in the NCAA Tournament. Take St. John's.
