Southern Illinois at Western Kentucky

A good matchup vs two Mid Majors that have established a history of strong programs takes place at W. Kentucky tonight. For the Saluki's it will be their first true road test of the young season. While they have always had a huge home-court advantage, the Salukis have struggled on the road where they posted just a 3-10 mark last season and have dropped a pair of neutral court games already this season. The Hilltoppers have one of the strongest home-courts in the country where they have now claimed victory in 22 of their last 24 at home. Both teams have struggled taking care of the ball and that bodes as a worse fate for the travelling Salukis as they will be competing in a hostile environment for the first time this season. W.
