South Dakota was picked to finish near the bottom of the Summit League standings, but due to an influx of talented transfers, the Coyotes have a 22-11 record and are 20-8-2 ATS this season. Matt Mooney averages 18.5 points and Tyler Flack, one of the holdovers from last year, scores 15.2 points per game. The Coyotes had a seven-game winning streak snapped in a 74-71 loss to South Dakota State in the conference tournament semifinal and Mooney poured in 30 points, however, the Jackrabbits won it at the free throw line making 22-of-28 compared to 9-of-15 for South Dakota. Iowa closed its conference season with a 95-73 blowout loss to Indiana and the Hawkeyes now are only 13-15-1 ATS overall. The Iowa defense was almost non-existent as it allowed the Hoosiers a .603 shooting percentage, including 12-of-20 from three-point range. The Coyotes have won and covered their last four true road contests and hold the motivational edge in this matchup. Take South Dakota.
