Toledo returns one starter, but it's an important one in point guard Sonny Wilson, who averaged 15.3 points and 3.2 assists last season. The Rockets also recruited well, plus added five talented transfers, including center Austin Parks from Ohio State and Kyler Vanderjagt from Central Michigan. Toledo won nine of its 13 home games in 2024-25, finishing 18-15 overall. The Rockets had won four consecutive MAC regular-season titles before falling into a tie for fourth place, but they expect to contend again this year. South Alabama returns two starters in Randy Brady and John Broom. The Jaguars lost Barry Dunning, Dylan Fasoyiro, and Myles Corey, who combined for 35.2 points last season. They were ousted in the first round of the Sun Belt tournament by Arkansas State, and the Jaguars are picked to finish fourth in the conference this season. The Rockets are a slight favorite in this matchup and take Toledo on the moneyline.
