The Southern University Jaguars recorded 17 wins last season, which was a huge step forward as they only had 17 wins combined over the last three seasons. The Jaguars have a very solid backcourt, but they are going to get exposed inside. Their sole inside player from a year ago Quinton Dogget is gone, so they will really have to find someone that can help, and it won't happen early on. South Dakota has Trevor Gruis at 6'10" who average 11.6 points per game and 6.4 rebounds per game a year ago, so the ball is going to go into him a lot in this game. The Jags aren't involved in a lot of lined games, and haven't fared very well when they have been at just 1-5 ATS in their last six. I like the inside presence of South Dakota to get it done here.
