South Dakota State at Nebraska

Nebraska is looking for its first win and will get it against South Dakota State, which played three games versus weak competition before getting blown out at USC 84-66 on Tuesday. The Jackrabbits shot only 38.3 percent and Doug Wilson was the leading scorer with 15 points. The Trojans shot just 39.7 percent and still won easily. Fred Hoiberg has some talent in his first season in Lincoln, but it's going to take some time to sort it all out as he has new recruits along with several transfers. However, the Cornhuskers came close in an overtime loss to Southern Utah when Kevin Cross led the Huskers with 19 points and Jervay Green added 18 and the Thunderbirds were held to 4-of-23 from three-point range. The Huskers are a medium-sized favorite, but the way to go in this matchup is Nebraska on the moneyline.
