Santa Clara at Xavier

Xavier has an entirely new roster and a new coach, Richard Pitino, who comes over from New Mexico, where he led the Lobos to the NCAA Tournament on multiple occasions. Pitino was able to bring in some talented shooters among the transfers, including All Wright (yes, that's his name), Malik Messina-Moore, and Isaiah Walker. Messina-Moore led the Musketeers with 17 points in their 74-69 win over Le Moyne on Thursday when they shot 52 percent from 3-point distance. Santa Clara is replacing all five starters and has nearly 70 points per game this season. The Broncos do have wins over Humboldt State and McNeese State to start the season.
