San Diego at Santa Clara

Santa Clara is 17-8 on the season, but that doesn't describe what they have done recently. The Broncos started the season 13-3 with the help of a soft schedule, but have had a losing record over their last nine games at 4-5. None of those wins have come by a margin of more than 13 points. San Diego is 11-14 and won't solicit the Santa Clara "A" game and I believe the Broncos have not shown the capacity to blow out an opponent for several weeks. Santa Clara has been a double-digit favorite just once since Christmas and lost outright as a 12-point favorite vs Pacific on their home floor. Too many points here. I will back San Diego in this one.
