The Memphis Tigers played the AAC Tournament at home but was not able to beat Houston, coming up three points short. The Tigers will now open the NIT at home where they have been very strong all season. It will also be the fifth straight home game for the Tigers. Memphis went 17-0 SU at home this season as a favorite. San Diego had a good season at 21-14. The Toreros did not win very often on the road especially as a dog where they posted just two wins the entire season. Lots of traveling here and a perfect home team is too much to overcome.
