Samford at South Alabama

Both of these teams are off to a decent start to the season. The 6-3 Bulldogs have covered three of their last four, and have had their shooting touch in those games, shooting an average of 52.2%. The Jaguars opened the season at 5-0, and appeared to be heading for a very good season. But, as the competition ticked up, the Jags struggles began as they are just 1-4 in their last five games. The shooting will be a factor in this one, and Samford has been on fire. One would have to think that with South Alabama allowing 50% or better to each of their last three opponents, they could find themselves in trouble. Play on Samford.
