Saint Mary's CA at Long Beach State

The St. Mary's Gaels have been a very good team over the past couple of years, but they lost their top two2 players from a year ago and the 8-2 start is more of a product of soft competition than continued play at a high level. Long Beach State has already posted two straight up wins as an underdog and are a lot closer to the Gaels than the records or pointspread indicates in this. Long beach is completely balanced, boasting five scorers in double figures. They have also had success on a neutral court at 6-2 ATS in their last eight and have been profitable against the West Coast Conference teams at 13-6 ATS in their last 19. The Gaels, on the otherhand, have struggled against teams from the Big West where they have covered just four of the last 13. I like Long Beach State in this one.
