Sacramento State at Portland

The Sacramento State Hornets won 20 games this season, and have come a long way after being an annual door mat in the Big Sky Conference. They had Montana on the ropes in the Conference Final, but fell shy of an NCAA Tournament bid. The Hornets were a five-point loser vs. Portland in their regular season meeting, but that did not tell the whole story. Portland had a lights-out shooting night connecting on 27-51 from the field at 52.9%, and also converted 45% of their three-pointers, draining nine of them. The best player on the court will belong to Sacramento State in Jr. guard Mikh McKinney. Before all is said and done, McKinney will be a 2,000 point scorer at Sacramento State, averaging 19.3 point per game. He dropped 32 on Portland in the previous meeting, along with seven steals, so he is a factor on both ends. Portland barely finished over .500 at 17-16 and closed the season at 1-6 ATS in their last seven games. Sacramento State fits a postseason situation which is 23-2 ATS, and they are the choice in this one.
