Southern Mississippi at South Alabama

Richie Riley brought back just two starters from a year ago but he has his team off to a surprising 6-2 start. The two losses both occurred in their only two true road games. Those two games were against better competition in Wichita St. and Alabama and South Alabama made a game out of both contests losing by five and six points. They have since run the table with five-straight wins. Southern Miss has had four cupcake wins, and three double-digit losses to the better teams on their schedule. While this game may be competitive, I don't think the Jags lose at home to a team that they are clearly better than. Make the play on South Alabama on the moneyline.
