Southern Mississippi at Montana

Southern Miss will take on Montana in the Zootown Classic. The Grizzlies have returned four starters from a year ago, and this is a Big Sky team that has had a long history of being better than average for a low major. Southern Miss has a couple of issues that will ultimately hold the team back. They are being out-rebounded by their six opponents by nine boards per game, and the shooting has been really poor in the early going as the Golden Eagles have shot just 43% for the season and 28% from deep. Montana has another edge as they really protect the ball and have averaged just 9.4 turnovers per contest. I like the Grizzlies to win here. Make the play on Montana on the moneyline.
