Rutgers at Maryland

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights will get a lift of confidence tonight as they went into the deep end of the pool in their last game as a +15 point underdog vs. Wisconsin and came away with a 5-point win. Wins like that are huge confidence boosters, and they will be tested immediately by another outstanding team in Maryland. Maryland has lost to just Illinois and unbeaten Virginia, and presents a tall order here for the Knights. However, Maryland has shown the penchant for not delivering the "A" game vs. teams they are supposed to beat handily as the Terps are just 0-4-1 ATS on the season as a favorite of -11 or more. The Scarlet Knights have played over the line as an improved team at 5-2 ATS in their last seven, and won't draw the full interest of Maryland, who has Michigan State and Indiana on deck.
