Iowa plays its first home game in nine days in a letdown spot after upsetting Indiana on the road this past Saturday. The Hawkeyes can't be blamed for being overconfident against 9-9 Rutgers. The Scarlet Knights, though, play respectable defense, giving up 74.4 points a game, have a dangerous scorer in guard Tariq Francis, and have covered four of their last five games. Francis has scored 30 points in two of his last four games. He shoots 87.8 percent from the free-throw line. Rutgers owns Big Ten victories against Oregon and Northwestern. Although Iowa defeated Indiana, the Hawkeyes have not been playing at peak efficiency. They are 1-3 SU in their last four games and 3-3 ATS in their last six games. The Hawkeyes give up the fourth fewest points per game in the nation. But they average only eight more points per game than the Scarlet Knights. Take Rutgers.
