Richmond at TCU

The TCU Horned Frogs are a team that has a 21-15 record, which appears pretty decent for an NIT team. However, there are a lot of reasons to suggest that this team has put together phony seasons over the last seven years. They have played an out-of-conference schedule that is continuously among the weakest in the country, especially for a Power-5 conference team. The case can be made that this team simply does not belong to a tournament caliber unit. Since the start of the 2010 season, the extremely soft out-of-conference schedule has seen this team go 67-23 SU in November and December, but 33-108 SU after December. Richmond is a much better team than their typical out-of-conference opponent, and the Spiders come into this game at 22-12, and 7-1 in their last eight, losing only to VCU. I think TCU gets exposed badly in this one. Play Richmond for both the straight-up win and cover.
