Rice at Western Kentucky

Rice has lost three of the four road games it has played this season, including by 25 points at Middle Tennessee in mid-November, but they did take Texas to overtime on the road before losing 87-71 on Dec. 12. However, that was one of the few quality opponents the Owls have faced this season and they are picked to finish near the bottom of the C-USA standings. Western Kentucky has won the past seven meetings and covered the number in five of them. The Hilltoppers had won five straight before losing at Louisville and South Carolina, but they are one of the contenders to win the C-USA title with four starters returning, including star point guard Dayvion McKnight, who leads the team with a 16.5 scoring average and 4.6 assists per game.
