Rice at Marshall

Here we have an 8-5 team getting nearly double-digits from a 6-7 team. I realize that it's hard to win on the road, but Rice is 4-3 away from home and their offense is clicking right now, and this is a lot of points. The Owls are getting no respect here given their ugly loss to Sam Houston State. But I feel that will motivate them in this one. In contrast, Marshall may be a bit overrated right now after scoring 80+ in five straight games, winning five of them. Dating back to the 2017 season, when head coach Scott Pera took over, Rice is 17-6 ATS vs. losing teams. There's no doubt that Marshall should be favored here and should win, but I think Rice keeps it closedr than this spread. Take the Owls.
