Providence at Xavier

The Big East season will close tonight. This afternoon, there is a big game involving Xavier. The Musketeers have improved a lot, and with six straight wins, they are now 20-10 on the season. Xavier is No. 42 in the KenPom ratings and is squarely on the bubble. A loss would be devastating, but these are always dangerous games. Providence would love nothing more than to end Xavier's hopes of making the NCAA Tournament. Providence allows opponents to make a lower percentage of their shots than Xavier does. That gives the Friars a chance to stay close in this one. I think the circumstances have raised the line on Xavier. I like Providence in this one.
