The first day of the Big East tournament always has some upsets and this would be a mild one. Underdogs at 45%-55% SU off a close road win by 3 points or less are 64-27 (70%) ATS over the last 5 seasons. WVU narrowly beat the Friars twice this season, and these two teams are very evenly matched. We witnessed last night how tough it is for a someone to beat an evenly matched opponent three times in one year, when Denver lost to ULL. This game will not be as pronounced as the Rajin Cajuns win, but Providence will give WVU all they can handle here.
