Portland State at Santa Barbara

UC Santa Barbara snapped a two-game losing streak against small-school Menlo College 88-69 with Amadou Sow scoring a team-leading 27 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. The Gauchos shot 55.6 percent from the field and made 20-of-22 from the free throw line. UCSB is picked to finish near the top of the Big West Conference with three returning starters and the Gauchos are a good shooting team with a .489 field goal percentage overall this season.  Portland State has eight new players on the roster this year and had lost three in a row before getting wins over San Jose State and Grambling State. The Vikings are lacking defensively allowing opponents a .488 shooting percentage overall and .384 from beyond the arc.
