Pittsburgh at Syracuse

Cuse played very well on Saturday in dismantling a Nova team that had zero answer for Hakim Warrick. The key here will be defense. It is one of Pitt's biggest strengths and the Orangemen don't perform well against strong defensive teams. Syracuse is 4-19 ATS in home games versus good defensive teams (allowing <64 points/game) since 1997. They are also just 3-11 ATS in home games after 3 consecutive conference games over the last 3 seasons. Pitt may lose this game but they'll keep it close here. Three stars on Pitt plus the points.
