WIN

Both Pittsburgh and St. John's are 8-6 in the Big East, but Pitt is nationally ranked while the Johnnies are just 16-10.  Pitt has won four of its last six road contests. The Panthers have also claimed 30 of their last 50 road games and own one of the Big East's top road records over the last 12 seasons. Pitt is hungry for a win after a brutal three-game stretch against Top 25 teams, beating Cincinnati but losing the last two at Marquette and to Notre Dame, blowing a big lead. Pitt has won eight of its last 12 contests and is No. One in the Big East allowing 55.2 ppg. By contrast, St. John's ranks 13th in points allowed, is not a great offensive team and ranks dead last in the Big East in free throw shooting (64.8%).  The Red Storm has lost three of their last five and all three losses were by double digits. Play Pitt on the Money-Line.
