Pepperdine at Saint Mary's CA

Once an annual basement dweller in the West Coast Conference, the St. Mary's Gaels have spent a lot of time at or near the top over the last several years. They are once again a factor in the conference at 16-4 on the season and a perfect 9-0 at home. While they are off a blowout home win vs. San Diego, recent margins against teams certainly capable of being exploited have not shown the same ability. The Gales beat Yale by 16, Harvard by 1, Loyola Marymount by just 13, and San Francisco by just 6. Pepperdine has been down for many years, but are improving, and come in with a winning 10-9 ledger. The Waves have suffered just one blowout loss all season greater than the number here. They have also had success here, covering five of the last seven. Go with Pepperdine.
