Pacific at Murray State

The Murray State Racers have enjoyed time in the NCAA tournament in recent years, but lost almost all their scoring and rebounding from their team a year ago. As expected, they struggled early in the season at 4-7 through their first 11 games. The team gained valuable experience, and started to gel from that point on to finish up at 16-4 over their last 20 games. This is a team that rarely loses on their home court, and this season posted a 13-1 record here. Pacific has a strong basketball history, but this season was for rebuilding. They played an easy early schedule and opened at 9-2, but it caught up to them as they closed at just 10-14. They own just four road wins on the season, and none of those came against a team that rarely losses at home. They may hang in their, but Murray State has shown the ability to close at home.
