Oregon State vs. Marist

Oregon State comes off a 5-27 season, but was expected to be much improved with a healthier team and several returning players. However, the Beavers have lost three of their first five games, including the last two against St. John's and Long Beach State and are laying double digits in this matchup. Oregon State shot just 40.6 percent against the 49ers on Friday and was led by Stephen Thompson, Jr., who scored 24 points, but the Beavers were a miserable three of 24 from 3-point range, which doesn't bode well for covering a big spread.
