Oral Roberts at Texas Southern

The Cougar Classic gets underway tonight with a game between Oral Roberts and Texas Southern. Both squads will enter at 1-2 for the season. Oral Roberts was buried by Houston in their last game but held their own vs. St. Mary's in an 8-point loss. Texas Southern is off a big upset win as an 11-point dog against Arizona St. That could be tough for them to come out blazing as they certainly could be facing a letdown tonight after their big win. They became the fifth team this year to win as a double-digit dog, and three of the first four failed to cover their next game. Oral Roberts won 19 games a year ago, something they had not accomplished since 2014. The Golden Eagles should be even better this year as they have returned four starters.
