Oklahoma vs. Connecticut

After going 18-2 in the Big East last year on the way to winning the national title, UConn slipped to 14-6 in conference action this season. Connecticut became a No. 8 seed after losing in the Big East tournament to Creighton, 71-62, as a 4-point favorite. Defending the 3-pointer has been a weakness all season, ranked 10th in the 11-team Big East, allowing 35.1% shooting. No. 9 seed Oklahoma started slow but has finished strong on a 4-3 SU, 7-0 ATS run. They upset Mississippi State (93-87), Missouri (96-84), Texas (76-72), and Georgia (81-75) as underdogs. The Sooners are the only team in the nation with six players, each scoring at least 25 points in a game this season. Fourth-year head coach Porter Moser is 6-2 in the Big Dance, the third-best winning percentage (.750) among coaches whose teams are in this year's tournament. They're sixth in the 16-team SEC in shooting (47.2%) and second from 3-point land (37%). Oklahoma has also won its opening Big Dance battle in each of its last two appearances and 11 of its last 16.
