Northern Illinois at Minnesota

The Minnesota Golden Gophers have gotten out of the gate quickly at 9-1 on the season. A good part of their terrific start is because of their efforts on the defensive end of the court. Minnesota is limiting opponents to 35.2% shooting, and additionally defending the 3 at 27.2%. No team has shot better than 42% on them all season, and it looks to be a frustrating day for Northern Illinois, who shoots a pedestrian 43% on the season, and will be hard pressed to find the bottom of the net here very often.
