Norfolk State vs. East Carolina

East Carolina has had some easy games to start the season 3-0, but this is a deep team that has five players scoring 10 or more points, and nine players at 5.7ppg or more. Norfolk State had a pair of automatic wins at home, but in their only road test, they failed miserably losing to Texas Southern by a dozen. East Carolina is a tough place to play, especially for a team not used to playing here, and the Pirates have only failed to cover here three times in their last 13. The Spartans have to prove they can go on the road and take on a team of equal ability and get it done. Until then, best to be on the other side. Norfolk St. has played up tempo in their first three games.
