Norfolk State vs. Appalachian State

Appalachian State obviously is peaking at the right time as it just made an unbelievable run through the Sun Belt Conference tournament winning four games in four days to clinch a spot in the NCAA Tournament. Three players averaged at least 17 points per game in the tournament, including Michael Almonacy (21.8), Justin Forrest (20.0) and Adrian Delph (17.8) and 6-5 Donovan Gregory pulled down 10 rebounds per game. The Mountaineers had lost six of their last seven regular season games, but have come together at the right time after underachieving a bit throughout the season. Appalachian State is 14-9-1 ATS this season and it has covered the number its past five neutral-site games. Norfolk State won the MEAC tournament defeating Morgan State 71-63 in the championship game on Saturday. The Sun Belt is a stronger conference than the MEAC and the Spartans' only win against a quality non-conference opponent was George Mason. Take Appalachian State.
