Nicholls State at Kentucky

Kentucky has a dynamic offense. The Wildcats averaged 84.4 points per game last season and return leading scorer Otega Oweh, who averaged 16 points per game. Kentucky is going to be high-scoring again this season with veteran transfers, elite young talent, and depth across each position. That is why the Wildcats are ranked 9th in the country. Defense, however, remains a concern for the Kentucky team. The Wildcats surrendered 84 points to Georgetown in their second exhibition game. Kentucky allowed 77.2 points per game last season. Nicholls State doesn’t have the defense to keep up, especially on the road against an upper-tier offense. But the Colonels have the athletes in the backcourt and shooting depth to contribute to this total going OVER.
