NC Charlotte at Western Kentucky

It certainly appears that neither of these teams will be playing in the postseason as Charlotte enters at just 10-16, while Western Kentucky is at 12-14 on the season. After a very difficult out-of-conference schedule early combined with inexperience, Charlotte started the season at 4-13, but have really started to play much better, owning a 6-3 record in their last nine games. The catalyst has been a fast paced and more efficient offense that has reached the 100-point mark in three of the nine games. The 49ers have also shot 50% or more in five of the contests. That will be problematic for a Western Kentucky team that has allowed six of their last 13 opponents to connect on over 50% from the floor. Improved offense vs. a defense that has struggled, puts the Niners in prime position for the road win here. Make the play on Charlotte.
