NC-Asheville at USC

The USC Trojans have to have that left out feeling going on. How can a team win 23 games, finish second in the Pac-12, and be left out of the tournament? That stings even more when you consider Arizona State is in the tournament after finishing tied for eighth in the Pac-12. Regardless, it is their reality, and I doubt there is a whole lot of energy in the building by this team tonight vs. a team no one on the West Coast has heard of in NC Asheville. Despite no national acclaim, the Bulldogs have a couple strong scorers in Thomas, and Teague that will keep them in touch in this one. USC may also be wondering what could have been if Benny Boatright wasn't injured late in the season, but he won't be on the floor, and mentally neither will the rest of the Trojans.
