Montana at Portland State

Montana will visit Portland State tonight in Big Sky Conference action, and it should be an entertaining game with both teams at 10-8 on the season. I think the value in this one lies with the way these teams have gotten to 10-8, as Montana has had the more difficult path. And since conference play began, they have shown that they are a tough out with a three-way tie for first place with just one conference loss. Portland State, however, is in the middle of the pack at 4-4. I think it comes down to Montana having the top two scorers on the floor to give them better outs to close the game. The Grizzlies have also followed a spread loss by going 10-4-1 ATS in their last 15, while Portland State is 8-19 ATS following a loss and is 0-5 ATS in their last five at home vs. a team with a winning record.
