Missouri at Texas A&M

The Missouri Tigers sure have had some exciting teams in recent years with a lot of athleticism and high-octane pace, but this is not one of those teams. Missouri is off to a 7-10 start on the season, despite a lot of home cooking, and have yet to break through on the road. They were humiliated by Kentucky in a game that saw them score just 37 points. The hangover continued vs. Tennessee where the offense struggled again. The last two Tigers games have seen them go 36-114 from the floor at 31.6% and connect on 9-40 from deep at 22.5%. Making matters worse is their .500 free throw shooting in the two games, and their 21 points per game average in the first half. Texas A&M is far from a good offensive team - they like to play on the defensive end and in the half court where they are most comfortable. The Aggies have not touched 70 points in 11 of 15 games on the season. I can see limited points scored in this one early as they try to take the will out of the pedestrian Missouri offense early while Missouri still has some fight left in them. The Tigers carry some road baggage with them here as they are an ugly 16-34-2 ATS in their last 52 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Look for the first half to play UNDER the total, and grab Texas A&M as they will pull away in the second half.
