Mississippi State at Alabama

Alabama exploded on the college basketball scene last season. The offensive philosophy was to take shots deep in the paint, run, and gun, and take a lot of 3's with very few long 2's. That worked well but things are different this season. The Crimson Tide shoots just 31% from deep and that has made that philosophy tough to live by. They are 16-9 on the season but own a losing record over their last 11 games. Mississippi St. is 14-10 and has dropped three straight games. They should be able to keep themselves in the game as the Bulldogs allowed less than 33% shooting from deep. They one the first meeting against Alabama by holding the Tide to under 40% shooting, and should be able to keep this one close with the same recipe. Make the play on Mississippi St.
