This is a good time to be playing against Texas A&M. The Aggies have hit a road bump in Bucky McMillan's first season at the helm. The Aggies have lost four in a row and failed to cover in their last three games. Texas A&M has far more firepower than Mississippi, averaging the fourth-most points in the country at 93.5. However, the Aggies are 321st in defense, surrendering an average of 81.8 points per game. That number climbs up to 88.5 during the last four games. The well-coached Rebels under Chris Beard do enough things right to stay within this high number. Mississippi is 131st defensively, allowing eight fewer points per game than Texas A&M. Ole Miss takes care of the ball well, committing the second fewest turnovers per game in the SEC. The Rebels also have the third-highest scoring bench in the conference and rank 56th nationally in blocked shots. Take Mississippi.
