Mississippi at Southern Mississippi

It’s not too often that you get a 9-1 SEC team taking to the road vs. a Conference USA squad and posted as a dog, unless it is Memphis. That speaks volumes of the type of team the 7-2 Golden Eagles put on the floor. The Golden Eagles squad has been a perfect 3-0 here on its home floor. There is a reason that they are the favored team here, and my choice. Southern Miss is 18-2 in their last 20 at home, with the two losses by 1 point, including a high-octane Memphis team a year ago. Ole Miss may be 9-1, but their only true test was a loss on a neutral court vs. Marquette where they were blown out of the gym by 30 points. The Golden Eagles are now 31-15 ATS as a favorite of less than seven in their last 46 games. Play on Southern Miss.
