Mississippi Valley State is getting a huge number and that is understandable considering its record, but Texas Southern has lost five of its last nine and been somewhat disappointing this season after being picked to finish near the top of the SWAC standings. Mississippi Valley State actually has covered three of its last four games, including a 74-70 loss to Southern on Monday as a nine-point underdog. The Delta Devils do have some scorers as Caleb Hunter had 26 points and Michael Green added 24 against the Jaguars.
