Miami vs. Texas

Miami not only took down one of the best teams in the nation on Friday, but also one of the top defensive squads in defeating Houston while shooting 51.7 percent. Nijel Pack scored 26 points and the Hurricanes became just the fifth team to score at least 70 points against the Cougars all while holding Houston to 35.0 percent shooting. Miami is a tough team to prepare for as it can get up and down the court while still playing great defense. Texas could be without forward Dylan Disu (left foot bone bruise), who scored 28 points against Penn State. Texas has gone UNDER seven of its past eight games and it held Xavier to 25 points in the first half. Houston never did figure out the Hurricanes' defense and scored 36 in the first half and shot 29.0 percent on 3-point tries for the game. Miami has won 10 of its past 12 games and the only losses were to Florida State and Duke. The Longhorns have gone UNDER six straight following a win and five of six on neutral courts.
