Akron has won all four home games this season and it looks to avenge an 86-64 loss to Marshall last year when the Zips shot only 38.1 percent. Marshall beat Morehead State on Monday to snap a three-game losing streak with Jon Elmore scoring 27 points for the Thundering Herd. Akron had a three-game win streak broken losing to Purdue-Fort Wayne and Daniel Utomi led the Zips with 23 points, but the Zips suffered through another bad shooting night. However, at home the Zips have a .509 shooting percentage while holding opponents to 31.6 percent. Akron coach John Groce brought in several junior college transfers and so far they have fit in well to go along with Utomi and Jimond Ivey. The Zips are a small favorite, so go with Akron on the moneyline.
