WIN

It's been a good year at UC Irvine. The Men's Volleyball team won the NCAA Championship, the baseball team made it to the College World Series, and now the Men's hoop team appears to have a ticket to the dance come March which is something they have yet to accomplish. This may be their year. The Anteaters return Darren Fells - a great presence in the post on both ends of the floor, and Patrick Sanders - a gifted, athletic, wing player and two-year starter. They also return their PG in Michael Hunter and his running mate Chuma Awaji. The Anteaters are poised to make a run in the Big West Conference. Loyola Marymount was devastated by graduation as 75% of the scoring is gone and the lone starter returning is not a point scorer. This is off a team that went 13-18 and 5-9 in the conference and may sink to the bottom this year. This is a veteran squad against a team that is comprised of seven freshmen in game one, so we will ride the Anteaters who should come away with a convincing win.
