Louisiana Tech at UAB

UAB won its sixth straight in a thrilling three-overtime affair against Middle Tennessee in the semifinals of the C-USA tournament on Friday. The Blazers pulled out a 102-98 win with Jordan Walker scoring 40 points and Michael Ertel added 26 points for UAB, which held the Blue Raiders to 41 percent shooting. Louisiana Tech defeated North Texas 42-36 in an ugly game in the other semifinal and the Bulldogs managed to shoot just 28.6 percent and made only 14 field goals. North Texas was even worse hitting only 13 of 54 shots for 24.1 percent. The Blazers won and covered both meetings this season, including 87-74 last Saturday.
