Longwood at Winthrop

The Big South Quarterfinals will feature the 18-13 Longwood Lancers vs. the 17-14 Winthrop Eagles. These teams will both be out to extend their season, and it should be a highly contested game between a pair of teams fighting to extend their season, but just one will earn their way to the semi-finals. Longwood after going 1-15 SU vs. Winthrop has now won four of the last six meetings, and the teams split a pair of games in the regular season. The shooting backgrounds are not familiar which could make things take time to get used to, and neither team has shown the ability to knock down 3's. This should be an intensely played game with their season on the brink, and I expect a lower scoring game than indicated. Make the play UNDER the total.
