Longwood at George Mason

Longwood is off a losing season and is picked to finish sixth out of 11 teams in the Big South preseason poll. This is a tough spot, heading out on the road for the first time. It's also a tough matchup against a George Mason squad off a winning campaign. They topped Navy in the opener, 68-55, allowing 36.2% shooting and just 4-of-20 from long range. GM Head coach Dave Paulsen unveiled a full-court pressure defense last year, forcing opponents to enter their halfcourt offense later in the shot clock. They forced 19 turnovers against Navy.
